Our Process
Our dedicated and passionate team members are working to build your dream. We handle all aspects of building from the drafts, council approval, plumbing, electricial, carpentry & more.
1: First Contact
We get to meet you, see your property and discuss any ideas that you may have for your upcoming project. This is a great time to get to know each other and make sure you are comfortable with Millwood Homes as your trusted builder.
2: Design
If you have a design or maybe just a few ideas, you can engage us to prepare a set of plans that will meet all your expectations and requirements.
3: Selection
We will work with you to help select the best possible quality fittings for your new home. We understand that sometimes it is difficult to have the full picture of what you require so we are flexible and will work with you if you change your mind. This is your home and you need to feel comfortable with all the decisions made.
4: Contract
When you are happy with all the details presented, we will prepare all the required documentation for signing. Millwood Homes uses HIA documents which are easy to read and gives you the peace of mind that you can contact them at any time for clarification.
5: Approval
Leave it to us. We lodge all the required forms; Working Drawings, Engineering details, Specifications, Wall and Roof Frame Layouts and Home Owners Warranty. You will receive a full set of the plans and approvals. Nothing is left out.
6: Construction
Once we have the approvals, the fun begins. Your new house is no longer just an idea. We will keep you informed of the various construction stages and visits to site are always welcomed with your site manager. Millwood Homes SA is there to answer all your questions or concerns.
7: Completion
Congratulations. Your New Home is ready. This is always an exciting time to hand over the keys to your New Home. For the team at Millwood Homes SA this is not the end of another quality building project but rather an ongoing relationship with our valued clients. You have the peace of mind that we stand behind any of our projects with full certification, a 3 month maintenance period and a 25 year structural guarantee. We are proud of our creations.
